Snapshots
We're back! What an amazing trip! After driving for two days through six states (counting our brief accidental 'detour' into Mississippi), my family and I arrived home Tuesday, safe by God's grace.
Your prayers for my trip are much appreciated. God's presence was as constant as always, but especially evident a few times on our trip. For instance, on our way back home we encountered a storm that was so intense we could not see the road.

We toured Arlington cemetery on Memorial Day, visited the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, International Spy Museum and the Capitol building. (i.e. The trip was busy, exhausting, but also a blast.)
Here are a few snapshots:

Wow. Looks like a blogger convention. And thats one wicked looking storm.
What did you think of Patrick Henry?
Palm Boy,
I don't think I have a complete impression of PHC since I went on a Sunday and all the faculty was absent. It seems like a great institution though, from what I have read of it.
I'm so glad you got back safely and had a great time! Are you considering attending PHC?
Lydia,
Yes, I'm considering it. But nothing is for sure at this point. :-)
Great pictures! The ones from the storm are fascinating, and it is neat that you were able to get together with a few other bloggers. Had you met them before?
Elizabeth,
No, I hadn't met any of the bloggers before. It was great to get together with people I had only corresponded with through email.
Glad you had a safe trip! I know a guy who goes/went to Patrick Henry. (I'm not sure if he will return there this fall or not.)
;-)
Glad you made it back safe.
